Helping people and their trees is a family tradition for the Freemans. My father and uncles began work with a national tree company, Davey Tree Service, in 1954.
In 1985 I decided to apply the experience and knowledge I had gained to my business endeavor and started my own company, Freeman’s Tree Care. My two sons have followed their grandfather and me into the tree business.

Pearce Shadrick

Pearce Shadrick brings very extensive and unique experience to help guide commercial and residential clients on how to best manage, maintain, care or deal with any tree related issues. Raised in Southwest Georgia growing up learning and working on the family farms, land preserves and logging operations formed a solid knowledge foundation and instilled an appreciation and extensive understanding of the natural process of Mother Nature.
As Supervisor for Moreland Altobelli and Superintendent for C&B LLC during the storm disaster cleanups of the North Atlanta area, Key West and Oklahoma during the 90’s seeing tens of thousands of different tree failures and overseeing the safe removal of many thousands of hazardous trees of almost every situation imaginable increased significantly Pearce’s knowledge and understanding of how to safely deal with any hazardous tree regardless of the situation.
For the past 25 years Pearce has been primarily involved in offering professional full service tree in the greater Atlanta area with the past 14 years working at Freeman’s Tree Care.
Previously a Certified Arborist for 6 years and a CAM Licensed Manager whether residential, HOA, or commercial Pearce guides his clients on how to best serve their individual tree related needs.
Sam Tourangeau
Operations Manager/Sales
Sam Tourangeau is a second-generation Arborist and a U S Army veteran.
Client’s frequently comment about his knowledge, professionalism, and the authentic enjoyment he shows for his craft. His experience working with, and leading field service teams, gives him a unique understanding of the resources and time required to accomplish services. That is important to folks purchasing Tree Care because those are the two primary criteria in the Tree Care Industry for price determination.
Sam is also adept at diagnosing disease and insect issues, assessing tree safety and prescribing solutions. When asked, “What do you like about the Tree Care business?” Sam replies to the question with a resounding, “I thoroughly enjoy challenging work and helping people. It is my purpose to always prove worthy of co-worker and client confidence and trust.”
